Mad Monkey Gili Trawangan Hostel

The hostel had a great atmosphere and it was easy to meet new friends. The staff were really nice too ensure a nice experience. The toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Plus, the daily activities were a lot of fun. I also appreciated that the music stopped around 11 pm, great for a peaceful night's sleep.

The only minor inconvenience was that the drinking water wasn't free, but it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.

The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach. The staff was friendly and the rooms werenice and neat with air conditioning. We loved that they offered different activities every day, like snorkeling and happy hour with a DJ. The beachfront infinity pool was a great place to relax and the open plan bar had fine ocean views. We felt safe the entire time as solo female travelers. The kitchen was able to accommodate our allergies and the bathrooms were clean and well-lit. I highly recommend this hostel for a fun and safe stay in Gili Trawangan.

Christmas in paradise! Absolutely loved the complimentary cocktails and massages upon arrival! the location was perfect, close to everything we needed. the beach was a bit dirty, but they organized beach clean-ups which was a plus.

The restaurants were a bit of a trek, but we rented bikes and it was fine. the food at the hostel wasn't great, but we didn't mind trying out different places.

the location was perfect for us to relax and enjoy the mesmerizing sunsets. the staff were very helpful and pleasant, ensuring our rooms and private bathrooms were always clean and comfortable. the breakfast options were reasonably priced and tasty, giving us a great start to our day. We enjoyed the well-designed pool, organized activities and great quality food and drinks the hotel had to offer.

The hotel is a bit far from the main City, so it can be quite difficult to travel back and forth regularly.

The lounge and pool areas were fantastic, a great place to relax and have a drink. The staff were really helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make sure everyone was having a good time. I also loved how close the hotel was to the beach, just a few steps away. It was really convenient that the hotel provided bicycles for rent as well, perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

I wasn't too impressed with the kitchen. There were a lot of flies and my friend even found a couple in her breakfast.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including the cleanest and most well-maintained infinity pool right in front of the beach. Breakfast was great and the staff were all lovely, always with a smile. Moreover, the hotel's location made it very convenient for us to explore the city and the beach, as it was right on the beach.

I recently stayed at Mad Monkey in Gili Trawangan for a few days and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect, and the hotel itself was modern and well-maintained. There were plenty of bathrooms available, so I never had to wait in line. The staff, especially Budi and Andi, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel offered a variety of activities like snorkeling trips, bike rentals, and fun evening events. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the pool area and private beach were great additions. I'm already missing my time there and would definitely stay at Mad Monkey again.

The location of this hotel is perfect for those who love the beach. With a beach volley ball court and a giant beanbag teepee right on the beach front, you can enjoy the sand and sea all day long. the rooms are comfortable and come with amenities like universal plug-ins and a large fan. the open plan bar offers stunning views of the ocean, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Some guests mentioned that the hostel is a bit far from the main attractions of the island, which may require a bike ride or walk to get to.

This hotel offers an extraordinary luxurious experience with its exclusive amenities and stunning view of the saltwater pool and the beach access. the room advantages were outstanding, providing the ultimate experience of comfort for all guests. the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace were perfect to relax, and the entertainment was exceptional. the bar/lounge area was fantastic, offering refreshing cocktails and poolside snacks.

One amazing week! Beach-front hostel with the perfect sunset location. I stayed a full week and barely wanted to leave! The private teepee was cozy and had all the amenities I needed. The infinity pool right by the beach was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The open-plan bar had a fantastic view of the ocean and made for a great hangout spot. I felt safe the entire time as a solo female traveler and the staff were always attentive and helpful. The kitchen was accommodating to my allergies and the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The west side location offered stunning sunsets and fresh sea air. an incredible experience!

Would not recommend - one of the worst stays ever. The hotel was located far from the main area and was extremely noisy.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure I had a great experience. the hostel is well, designed with great showers and toilets, and the pool area is fantastic. They even have pool parties and organized events. the tent/teepee accommodations were cozy and had all the necessary amenities, including international plug and anti, mosquito plug, in. the breakfast options are reasonably priced and delicious.

I wish I could have stayed longer at this beach, front hostel with its perfect sunset location. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect!
